Celebrating Success and Innovation Since 1969
The Neil Huffman Automotive Group is proud to announce the celebration of the company’s 50 year anniversary.
The late Neil Huffman opened his first dealership, Neil Huffman Volkswagen, on Dixie Highway on January, 6, 1969, in a snowstorm and with only 16 employees.
Since the beginning, Neil Huffman Automotive Group has been a dedicated ambassador in the community, partnering with numerous local charities and events such as: Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Hike, Bike and
Paddle, Humane Society, Kosair Children’s Hospital, Metro United Way, Kentucky Derby Festival, Maryhurst, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, just to name a few.
“We are beyond thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in the community and are especially proud of the work we have done with local deserving organizations,” said Kim Huffman, managing partner.
With Neil’s untimely passing in April of 2007, leadership of the company now rests with his son Dow, his daughter, Kim, and his grandson Shane. Neil’s vision of moving forward and leading the way live on with this generation of the Huffman family.
Over the decades, the Neil Huffman Automotive Group has been able to successfully adapt to the ever-changing landscape that is the automobile industry in order to remain one of the largest locally-owned auto groups in the region. With locations in Louisville, Frankfort and Southern Indiana, we will continue to provide sales, service, parts and accessories for customers with the same distinguished service they have come to expect from the Neil Huffman Auto Group.
“For over half a century, we have remained dedicated to being an integral part of this community’s success,” said Shane Huffman, managing partner.
As the Neil Huffman Auto Group continues to grow, the mission stays the same: to provide the most enjoyable car buying experience in the region.
