Celebrating 50 Years Of Selling Vehicles In Our Community

The Neil Huffman Automotive Group is celebrating the company’s 50^th anniversary! It all got started in the middle of a snowstorm on January 6, 1969, when Neil Huffman opened his first dealership, Neil Huffman Volkswagen, with only 16 employees.

 

 

Over the decades, the automotive landscape has changed significantly, but the Neil Huffman Automotive Group has adapted successfully, adding new brands and dealerships — including Subaru, Volkswagen, Honda, Mazda, Acura, Nissan, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC — to meet the needs of their customers. With locations in Louisville, Frankfort and Southern Indiana, they remain one of the largest locally owned auto groups in the area.

On January 10, 2019, the Neil Huffman Automotive Group had a celebration at the original VW store location on Dixie Highway in Louisville. They celebrated with the community, employees and the media. Lots of well-wishers enjoyed cake, balloons and even a presentation from the Mayor’s Office. Tommy Clark from the Mayor’s Office, even delivered two proclamations from the Mayor celebrating the 50 years of the Neil Huffman Auto Group.
